Dr Stephen Quaning

Stephen Quaning, MD, MBA, is the CEO of MH Geriatrics Management and the Medical Director and Chief Physician at MetroHealth. A graduate of the St. George’s University School of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency and geriatric fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1998-99. He became board certified in geriatric medicine in 2000 and obtained an Executive MBA from Rollins College in 2006. Since taking over MetroHealth in 2002, Dr. Quaning has overseen all aspects of medical programming and patient services. Under his direction, MetroHealth has become one of the premier providers of expert geriatric medical care in the Central Florida area.

When he is away from work, Dr. Quaning enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and daughter. An avid flier and admirer of aviation, Dr. Quaning not only has his aviation license but also obtained his Senior AME, first, second and third class medical designation and is the founder of Gold Seal Aviation.
