Jazmin Campos

I entered the healthcare world intrigued by all of the various disciplines and opportunities to learn and grow.  I started with Metrohealth at an entry level of front desk receptionist.  I knew right away the medical field was a good fit for me.  I earned my degree as a Certified Professional Coder and was quickly promoted to the billing department. Here I discovered a whole new career path with the ever changing Medicare risk world.   Finding great satisfaction in working with physicians to ensure accurate documentation and coding to the highest specificity I knew I was on the right career path.  Within 2 years I was promoted to an assistant supervisory role of the CDI department.   Continuing to grow and realizing the financial impact documentation and risk coding can have, I proceeded to obtain my certification in risk coding.   With my CPC and CRC, I was able to apply my knowledge and  facilitate the growth and success of the CDI (Clinical Documentation Integrity) department with Metrohealth.  My next advancement would be Associate Director of CDI department with MH Geriatrics and affiliate liaison.  This opened more opportunities to use my knowledge and skills.  I get great satisfaction in working with our affiliate providers, bringing education, recommendations and hands on assistance.   My goal is to ensure that our affiliate partners are successful in the unique and ever changing world of Value based Medicine.  I am so proud to be part of our MSO, not only is it my career but my peers are like part of my family.  I have 3 children 2, of which were born during my career at MH Geriatrics.   I enjoy keeping busy with my children, their academics, sports, and gymnastics.   When not at work or busy with child activities, you are likely to find me working with my plants or enjoying outdoor activities.
